The Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) is thrilled to announce the opening of the next round of applications for our Future Leaders of Amphibian Conservation Grant Program. This initiative is a cornerstone of our efforts to foster the next wave of conservationists dedicated to amphibian survival. This special application is focused exclusively on supporting attendance at the 10th World Congress of Herpetology in Borneo (WCH10).
Who We Are Looking For
We are inviting early-career conservationists, researchers, and practitioners passionate about amphibian conservation to apply. Ideal candidates are those within 10 years of completing their last educational degree, already actively involved in amphibian conservation.
Program Overview
Our Future Leaders program is designed to support emerging conservationists who aim to advance solutions for the global survival of amphibians. The program offers various opportunities, including:
- Conference attendance grants
- Funding for research projects
- Support for capacity-building initiatives
This round will ONLY focus on enabling participation in the upcoming 10th World Congress of Herpetology.

Please review the Eligibility Criteria before applying. If you meet the criteria, please complete the online application to detail your background, conservation experience, and proposed congress contribution.
Applicants must submit the abstract of their oral presentation or poster session. You are required to participate in the conference either by giving oral presentations, poster presentations or confirmed participation in symposiums, workshops or roundtables. Approval letters and/or emails will be requested.

Successful applicants will receive funding covering registration, travel, food and accommodation.
