I am thrilled to announce that the Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) has recently concluded its first-ever hybrid Global Council meeting, marking a significant milestone in our journey to conserve and protect our beloved amphibians worldwide. 🌎
During this momentous gathering, our esteemed Council members, passionate scientists, conservationists, and stakeholders from around the globe came together in London, UK, to discuss and deliberate on the future direction of our alliance. Through meticulous collaboration, dedication, and expertise, we are proud to reveal that our new strategic plan for the next five years has been unanimously approved! 🎉
This strategic plan represents a pivotal turning point for the ASA, as it sets a strong and exciting course for our partnership, empowering us to accomplish our mission of safeguarding amphibians and their habitats. With a renewed focus on conservation, governance, research, education, and community engagement, we are poised to make an even greater impact in the years to come.
Our new strategic plan encompasses a variety of key initiatives, including:
1️⃣ Strengthening global partnerships: We recognize the power of collaboration and aim to foster even stronger alliances with organizations, governments, and individuals who share our passion for amphibian conservation. By working together, we can achieve far-reaching and sustainable outcomes.
