The following grant opportunities are now offered by the Stiftung Artenschutz (Species Conservation Foundation):
Small Grants – These grants are offered in collaboration with the German Association of Zoological Gardens and support projects that can demonstrate a positive effect on the conservation situation of threatened species. Please be aware that there is currently no thematic focus of this grant, so anyone, working with any species regardless of the group, can apply. The next opportunity is focused exclusively on amphibians.
Amphibian Conservation Fund – These grants support a range of activities including direct amphibian conservation and research projects, conservation breeding and reintroduction, training and capacity building, habitat restoration, and education and awareness activities. The requested funding amount should not exceed 5.000 €, and project duration should not exceed 12 months. The deadline to apply is August 15th, 2023.
