We are excited to welcome Voice of Nature (VoNat) as the newest partner of the Amphibian Survival Alliance! Based in Cameroon, VoNat is dedicated to creating a greener, safer, and more sustainable planet where both wildlife and humanity can thrive. Their mission is built on the understanding that protecting nature today is essential for the well-being of future generations.

VoNat has been actively engaged in amphibian conservation since 2021, focusing on key biodiversity hotspots including Mount Nlonako, Mount Muanenguba, Mount Mbam, and Mount Oku. Their efforts combine research, education, community engagement, and collaboration to protect amphibians and their habitats.

Key Initiatives:

  1. Amphibian Research & Monitoring – Studying amphibian ecology, population dynamics, and threats to inform conservation strategies.
  2. Education & Community-Led Conservation – Raising awareness and engaging local communities in habitat restoration, sustainable livelihoods, and conservation action plans.
  3. Collaboration & Resource Mobilization – Partnering with national and international organizations to strengthen conservation efforts.

VoNat has already made a significant impact, mentoring 150 children in amphibian research, reaching over 10,000 community members through awareness campaigns, and working with local communities to develop conservation priorities.

We look forward to working alongside VoNat to advance amphibian conservation in Cameroon and beyond. Welcome to the ASA!
