The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has posted interim rule guidance for injurious-listed salamanders permits on the International Affairs Program webpage under “Do I Need A Permit?”

This guidance includes instructions for filling out application 3-200-42 and info-graphics that explain double escape-proof containment.

This document is specific to permit applicants and complements but does not supersede or replace existing guidance, such as the materials available from https://www.fws.gov/injuriouswildlife/.

This is a living document. USFWS will add and refine guidance as permit applicant concerns become more clear and additional information becomes available.
