Funding, profile and training for outstanding conservation leaders!

 The Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN) is a UK registered charity offering Whitley Awards to dynamic grassroots conservation leaders around the world. Whitley Awards are an international profile prize and form of project funding worth £40,000 GBP over one year.

Application to the Whitley Awards 2019 is now open and will close at midnight GMT on 31stOctober 2018.

 The Awards will be presented at the Whitley Awards Ceremony in London during April/May 2019. Successful applicants will receive funding in May/June that year. Often referred to as “Green Oscars”, WFN’s Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, presents these internationally recognised prizes which come with communications training and a significant boost in profile. 

 Whitley Awards are aimed at biodiversity conservation leaders working in countries or regions of which they are nationals and that are not defined as having a High-Income Economy by the World Bank (with some exceptions).
