ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE: PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION
The Administrative Associate will work closely with the Executive Director and the Financial Officer to execute regulatory compliance filings and similar legal/bureaucratic duties as needed. The Administrative Associate will:
Complete and submit registrations and renewals for charitable solicitations in each state where required
Maintain meticulous records of registration and renewal submissions and annual deadlines
Submit, renew and/or maintain other state and federal government compliance matters (such as SAM US Federal Contractor Registration) as needed
Execute and/or research then advise the Executive Director and the Financial Officer on other legal and regulatory issues, such as patents and trademarks, as needed
The ideal candidate will be:
Knowledgeable and effective in the field of non-profit and conservation-related legal and regulatory compliance
Extremely reliable and punctual
Courteous and professional
Enthusiastic about the conservation of amphibians, reptiles and their habitats
HOURS AND COMPENSATION
Starting compensation: $8 per hour with opportunity for increases based on performance
Minimum starting monthly hours: Five
Maximum starting monthly hours: 20
Remote telecommuting is acceptable within the United States.
