The Directorate-General for the Environment invites tenders for its study on mitigating a new infectious disease in salamanders to counteract a loss of European biodiversity. The tenderer will identify the current extent and spread of the disease in Europe, establish an early warning system, develop emergency action plans for the short-term and provide proof-of-concepts for sustainable long-term mitigation measures.

Legal or natural persons based in EU member states or authorised countries under the WTO procurement agreement may submit bids.

The contract is worth €900,000 over 36 months.
